Finished Pnin but whoosh, a lot of it has gone over my head, the bit about the doubles and 'mimics' especially, and the last reveal that the whole thing might have been dreamt up by V.V. Pnin as a character though is fairly blameless and endearing. I really liked the device of V.V. gradually revealing himself and the narration becoming more and more personal.

I wrote my AU today and I think my time not working on the piece has given me new ideas I'm enthusiastic to try out. Definitely trying for a more slow tack.
