sunshowerdandelion | 12.04.25 (2): Bad Day-ish

I did not get enough sleep last night, frankly. I slept at 12 and woke up at 5.30ish, and got cranky. Did not help matters that I set today as my sports-day, so I swam and cycled and walked and got tired and cranky. Talk about waking on the wrong side of the bed! I was also then dragged to have lunch and only got time for myself when the day was half-done. And then I napped.

I did rally towards evening. I took part in drabble sessions! I decided to write for my driving AU since I got stuck with my Alice/Shizuha crack pairing, and I decided to write out a 'spine' for the chapter. I've noticed again and again that, say, Alice Munro's short stories have strong spines to carry the meandering stuff along, so I'm going to try that from now on. Identify the spine! This chapter's spine is Reisen getting shown Aunn's house, which will be shown in sections and interspersed.

Also, having finished The End of the Story, I think I'll have a nice long horror novels session tomorrow. I bought bean bags and everything! Going to buy ice cream also. With the current state of the world I'll need lots of ice cream.
