02.05.2025 (1): Involved Day

I talked a lot and swam a lot and shopped in a big-box store today that was almost deserted. I think it was a pretty wonderful day all told. My muscles are still aching from the exercise and my mouth hurts a little from smiling - I think I only regret that I seemed to resist yawning when my friend told me about her fandom (fans are so dedicated). I went home with a lot of K-Drama recommendations in my pocket, as well as some of Japanese mystery/thriller books which seem very interesting.

Distinct impressions:

1. People's heads can be rather wide.
2. Shopping in the big-box store and the PA system coming alive to pipe in an ambient listening song from somewhen in 2005 and the brief elation of being out of time.

As for writing, not a lot got done, but when I met with my friend we talked quite a bit about writing and how difficult it was to write with a demanding full-time job.
