Day 142.1: Motherhood is a Mess

Wow Liars really is something. It's like those horror films where things are terrifying from minute one and then get more and more terrifying until the film's borderline emotional terrorism (this is what I felt watching Hereditary). It's like one of those experiments in the U.S. in the 70s where they went "What if we made everything pretty cozy except you had to be a wife to someone who's pretty normal in the larger scheme of things?" and then found out that oh, oh, all these systemic issues really are a thing. I'm feeling very locked in right now, and have this great hankering to be nice to my mother.
