26.04.2025 (1): Another Nice Day

sunshowerdandelionI woke up unhappy. It was probably the interrupted sleep - I haven't been sleeping well this week, and I'm quite sensitive to having my sleep ruined. However, I'm happy to say that I managed to turn the day around and cleaned out my bookshelf (put a few Neil Gaiman books out) and also wrote quite a bit and also read quite a lot! I'm pretty happy with today, which goes to show myself that getting off on the wrong foot does not doom the entire day.
Also I've noticed that I used to take happiness for granted. Now I know it must be thumped into life, which is fine, alright.
I wrote a very dramatic bit of Reisen AU fiction today which I'm sure I'll have to blunt tomorrow. I think she'll need to keep her thoughts about immigration a little quieter, if she wants to get by. I think she realizes that.
