27.04.2025 (1): A Little Distracted

sunshowerdandelionWas writing distracted again today, a little (as bad as driving distracted!) Although to be fair it has been a distracting day, with a lot of things happening at once and awaiting attention. I also napped for too long - my body went "Is that enough?" after the first hour and I decided it wasn't. Overall a rather sunny day free from stress.
I think I had a little of what Annie Ernaux said of taking the individual memory of her past (as the 'we'), and also of being taken into the whole world of now, which, in my case, was a hot spring Sunday among other hot spring Sundays. I think I'll remember the honest, clean sear of this one for a long time, and walking down a street at noon searching for fried food (and not finding any).
As for writing, I think I'm going through with the 'angry Reisen' bit for my AU. I'll iron it out to be more cogent but I think a bluer Reisen would be outraged sometimes at the things happening on earth, especially because she chose earth.
