I think this will be my approach to holidays from now on. Less as a series of days to tick off productivity with and more as days unto themselves, to fill with things that are complete. I must not compare holidays with one another, or worse, compare them like this: "Oh, so this is now just a standard weekend." That way lies lack of fulfillment at any kind of holiday. Weekends are not the yardstick with which to measure holidays.

I think tomorrow I'm going try french toasting sourdough. And maybe cycle in the morning.
