04.07.2025 (1): Past the Valley of Death

Had a fever of fic completion! I finished a flash fic of about 900 words, taking notes, of course, from Thomas et. al.'s 1992 Flash Fiction: 72 Very Short Stories. I especially liked Jamaica Kincaid's entry, and Spencer Holst's crunchy one, and Francine Prose's. So I made this fic a bit recursive, though not really. I wrote through the night in a wide heat and was very anxious today.

I think it'd be too flattering to call my procrastination flash fiction, but here I am, trying to grow it into just that.
