05.01.2026 (1): Accidentally

sunshowerdandelionI accidentally finished a novella: Stone Animals by Kelly Link, which I'm told is a famous fantasy writer. However I don't think I liked this one. Things were flying in all different directions much too quickly, and I don't think I can appreciate surrealism and magical realism quite yet. I liked the parts about wanting to eat paint.
I struggle to write today. I think this AU chapter has exhausted itself a bit, or I need to think harder (and wait) to see what I write at the part near the conclusion of the chapter. I also need to put more physical descriptions. However I still think this chapter is great and something I want to write more of in the future, which involves putting bits of horror into my AU.
I got my Paypal activated! Hooray. I fought with the bank and won. Pew!
