06.10.2025 (2): Akutagawa's Kappa

I'm not sure I'm in the correct state of mind for this work, since I don't have ironic distance from the people around me and I'm not very pessimistic. I was given context for some of the allusions (Akutagawa's situation with his family, his pessimism, his illness) but still, I don't think the bitterness is coming up for me. Except the bit about being chased by she-Kappas.
