14.01.2025 (2): Envy (II)

I think I've only been part of what's written in Fugitive Pieces once, when I was overseas and little, and there was a library close by. Even that was such a short time. And then a lifetime in a - as Carson McCullers writes in her outline to 'The Mute' - a wasteful, short-sighted society. I have never had the pleasure of memorizing the Beaufort Scale properly, but I was briefly somewhere where that mattered.
