Day 121.2: Digressing

sunshowerdandelionI'm liking (and dreading mildly) how Seiran is choosing to tell her story. I'll probably have to edit lots, but she's digressing to 'test the waters' of her audience, mainly Kaguya. I think this is an exciting development because knowing how deceitful she can sometimes be, she'll probably swerve her stories a lot. I'm excited to write her swerves, and she's just done one because she thinks she's being boring (she was testing how amused Kaguya would be about Seiran mocking other rabbits and her own ridiculousness).
I think a big theme and development will be that Seiran's more and more comfortable with just telling her stories unembellished, or at least having the embellishments be the things she herself wants to embellish, instead of it being based on what she thinks her higher-ups expect of her. I really think deceptiveness is bred in for moon rabbits because, like IRL here, you have to learn very quickly to say what the bosses want you to say, and for them the stakes are a bit higher.
