Sometimes I'm just very very thankful that a combination of things, my teachers, my parents, my learning environment, the economic structure of the time and everything else left me with a love of letters. I know that some people think letters are like what numbers are to me, functional if dead tools, and I respect that. But I'm glad that I've been allowed to see and made to see that letters can be very beautiful in completely useless ways as well.
Courtesy of reading Jabberwock of course. It's nonsensical, but it was very fun to read, and that I can recognize it's fun (and not a terrible waste of time) is to me something to be very, very happy about.
