I got up at 4 am today and then had to prep for work and had work and is it any wonder that I'm tuckered out? I watched a very funny movie called Presence and I think everyone was doing their best but things did not land and it felt to me like a less effective Lake Mungo. I read a little more of Pnin and Nabokov's playfulness is great but his prose really draws attention to itself. I'm not sure about Victor either, though I really loved that scene of Pnin trying and failing(?) to anticipate his sort-of son. I thought that was endearing. Also the whole confusing Jack London with a Russian author. I wrote a teensy tiny bit.
