Day 20.1: Not Reading My Newly-Edited WIP

I am not going to read my newly-edited WIP. Last night I had the impression that I made Seiran even more sparse-seeming, and Reisen a bit more standoffish (due to her lack of small-talk, buzzed that all off), but I also hammered down on some of the themes I meant to underline (Seiran's lack of actual friends: her narration is a sort of forlorn hope thing). But nope: did not work on that WIP tonight, and ended up writing about the continuation of that WIP. Figures.

I think I'm getting the hang of describing Seiran's emotional state by describing how she views and focuses on certain things. In this case, Reisen's holster, and the gun in it, to describe Seiran thinking that really she had no choice before.
