I don't like the voice people use to write things on social media. It's too knowing and definite. Real people don't talk like that. They hedge. I don't like the implication that the owner of the voice knows all things, and if she doesn't, she hints that it is not actually outside her ken, or that whatever she doesn't know can't be important. It is the voice of people who pretend they're talking to you.
