25.10.2025 (1): No Crowd-Pleaser

This chapter will definitely not please anyone other than myself. It features a lot of petty backbiting and judgments and shifting friendships, just like the book I just finished: Slenderman (very long subtitle) by Kathleen Hale. I'm obviously not tasteless enough to rip a story from actual tragedy but I do think reading the book has given me a bit more grounding for the strange friendships I'm writing.

I have a 'date' tomorrow, very early. I'd honestly rather be writing and reading, but you can't account for taste if you live in a society I suppose.
