Day 33 & 34.2: Sketch-Writing

sunshowerdandelionThese past two days I've been sketch-writing: Writing scenes that I hadn't planned beforehand, and just enjoying the sound and feel of the words. Yesterday I diverged from the programme and actually managed to write a substantial scene on my AU, involving Alice and Sanae - but that scene requires cleaning up. Honestly, I think my 'vice of the month' is that I haven't been concentrating hard on my writing - back to yesterday's point about beauty requiring much effort - and so my writing's gotten loose. No more! I think I'll try intense concentration practice tomorrow, but today I've been sketch-writing.
Tomorrow I will stop any distractions from interfering with my writing, but since today's my rest day sort of I'm excused. I've been slowly trying to plan my Seiran fic continuation and it absolutely needs sustained, continuous, day after day concentration for the outline, and I managed that yesterday... just not today. I think it's fine.
You can tell that I don't actually think it's fine.
