sunshowerdandelion | Day 2.1: Writing Seiran

Not a lot of writing done today either, wordcount-wise, but I did conclude a scene. I've been trying Flaubert's 'tableaux' approach to scenes, but I don't seem to have the patience for it most times. I just want to plunge and write - at the expense of coherence probably. And that's to say nothing about the quality of my prose. The problem is, I sometimes have fallow days where any extra effort tips me into not writing, which is a shame.

I've written Seiran to be drier than my previous moon rabbit character (Reisen), and honestly, given word-space, I think I'll come to like her. Her narration isn't as anxious or as 'flowing' as Reisen's was, but she isn't as demanding either. I don't feel tired writing her - which could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending.
