03.01.2026 (1): Strange Days

I wanted today to be filled with lots of writing and reading, but it was not to be. I did cycle, which was fun, and I did get to eat very delicious things: But I didn't get to do very much writing, and a lot of my writing wasn't considered. I did finish a children's book today: The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico, which had every tearjerker trope crammed inside of it. I appreciated the nature descriptions! There was a lot of weird British nationalism in it, despite the author being from the U.S.

I think I encountered the book long ago, because I recognize the creepy cover.

I wrote about Reisen encountering Parsee today.
