09.01.26 (1): New Haunts?

sunshowerdandelionI subscribed to another writing forum, this time a little more alive. My writing pales in comparison! It is a tragedy. I shuffled words around today but had a nice thinking session while swimming. I also tried to read more Fugitive Pieces but the beauty of the book's prose made me want to write instead and so I did.
I watched Amanda (2022) and laughed my head off, almost. Such acid! I really like Amanda, though I'd probably not be friends with her. A review describes her as 'moderately damaged' and I'm inclined to agree. The actor, Benedetta Porcaroli, did such a great job.
I have been adrift these past few days because of work, but I'm finding my footing again, hopefully. Writing will always be a struggle and I will always distrust when my writing comes to me smoothly.
