12.03.2026: Happy Shades

sunshowerdandelionFinished Dance of the Happy Shades and loved it more this time around. I don't think Alice Munro quite lost her sense of humor in the later stories, but in Dance... she seems more outwardly and bitingly funny. Her black humor is really on show. She leans more against the surreal as well. Truly like returning to an old friend.
In writing news I've finally found a way of rounding out this chapter in a way that makes sense. Now that I have the essential shape of the thing, I need to sharpen each sentence to fully deliver. Lots of editing ahead!
