But not really.I managed to get the drift of Seiran's dream today, I think, as well as her background. She genuinely does idealize a sort of 'acts of service as love' thing (even though she's just as lazy as the other rabbits). Her education does involve a lot of that, and she's surprised momentarily when Reisen's education is not so big on that. I'm telling it through the myth of the A Bao A Qu (though very much modified and 'stolen' by the Lunarians) of the tower and the creature gaining solidity and all - but in this case, it'll either be a rabbit or some other kind of shadow, a creature of service. Still workshopping it in my drafts but I do think this will constitute a central 'block' in how Seiran was raised. She was raised to be useful and dutiful, like most women, I think, and that goes double for moon rabbits.

I must remember to make her sound convincing and not too gullible. I think Seiran is skeptical but thinks everyone receives roughly the same sort of stories, and is more surprised about the difference in stories than the general message of servility.
