sunshowerdandelion | Day 117.2: Slowed Down A Little

I did it! Or at least a bit of it: I started reading and writing earlier, and I might have gotten an Illumination (fingers crossed it's not a Night Glare instead) in that the storytelling sections, where Seiran actually tells the love story, be in the first person. It'd be a pretty affected first person, to be sure, and I'll have to develop the style again (I was prepared for a third person narrative style with all the neat stuff I did in my previous fic, but that looks to be increasingly unlikely) but when I wrote it in first person it was just very nice and rolled off the tongue, so to speak, so I'll try it.

I think I've read the first Alice Munro story to make me laugh out loud as well. It's Forgiveness in Families off Something I've Been Meaning To Tell You.
