Day 142.2: Writing Abuse

I'm writing abuse. I'm writing a relationship which is sometimes on the borderline, and is sometimes subjectively lovely, but when seen in sum is abusive. I intend to write a relationship that is infuriating and full of carelessness, or at least contains significant amounts of carelessness, that it can be mistaken for malice, and vice versa. Is Tsukasa malicious, or is she careless, reckless, infuriating? She can be all of them, I think, and she can also sometimes genuinely care, and sometimes genuinely be contrite. She can be sweet.
I think Della (the OC protagonist) recognizes this. Most of her sections start with subjunctives, "she could be sweet". I think she recognizes that she's in a bad way, and she's not helpless, but she is being sucked in.
