Day 168.1: She's Talking!

Del's talking finally! I think that as usual, pity is the password. Sympathy for my characters enough for me to fall in love with them. Today Del told me about an incident in her childhood that she thinks made her the way she is. I'm trying not to be too self-centered like Arrowby in The Sea, The Sea, but ever since Del wrote that sympathy post, I think she'll be a bit more frank about her writing process. There won't be too many asides of that nature I hope, but even if there are, I think people would understand.
