and finished We Were The Mulvaneys. Definitely a Joyce Carol Oates novel. Definitely a Joyce Carol Oates rhythm and characters as well. The novel feels (for lack of a better term) extremely U.S.ian, which is very much expected, but this ramps up towards the ending.

I got told off at work, so I felt a bit bad about that, which influenced my writing a little. I did spend most of today correcting my mistake and working overtime instead of writing, but writing still got done!
Finished a book and the author's voice is leaking a little into my work... we'll see if it's any good.
I've definitely underestimated this project. This will take lots more months to finish, but I'm very willing to stick it out.
Messy draft today, so no favorite lines.

Tomorrow I'll write a synopsis at least for my chapters.
