• I had that wonderful 'flow' feeling today, and managed to write something that I think has good bones! I like how the perspective flies around a bit in this part of the fic.
• I think my description flows well when I've decided on the function and 'gimmick' of the description

Also as part of my British folk-horror attraction, I read Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad and it was wonderfully creepy. I found the part where the entity searches blindly for the professor to be the scariest (it's always scarier to me when the creature shows something uncannily human), and also the part where the Colonel vaguely mentions 'India' as an explication for the apparition, and M.R. James is content to leave it at that. I'm still spooked by that last part!
