16.01.2025 (1): Designated Gaming Day

sunshowerdandelionDesignated gaming day followed by a massive blackout, so I didn't get a lot done (at all). I planned to read lots today... but that went awry. The best laid plans, et cetera. I did continue the voice I got yesterday, which I think is very encouraging. I also finished Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, which I think is what people wish science was like (lots more swordfighting and heroic sacrifices and philosophical discussions, instead of mounds of paperwork).
I felt rather nice and pleasant today, less irascible, which I think is because I actually slept for 7+ hours. It really is a weird new perspective, not to have that constant irritation and angst ticking behind your eyeballs. Tonight, I'll definitely try to get the same amount of sleep.
Tomorrow I plan to actually read The Sea, The Sea, although goodness Arrowby is such a dick.
