I was rather happy with today's writing session. I did not feel that gnawing anxiety I usually feel, that feeling of failing to measure up. I felt rather expansive, and I think my characters could talk to me a bit more clearly. I did not write a lot, but what I did write felt less beset by my reluctance to actually try my writing ability. I'm sure 'objectively' my writing today hasn't shown up any better, but the process was a little less torturous. I'm happy! No doubt this is the result of long holidays, good sleep, alright food, and time, time, time.
