I've been enjoying the process of writing more and more these past few days. It's still difficult: I have this tendency to just zip and be afraid of the burden of having to write sometimes, I want to get things out quick, fulfill quotas! But that leads to really slipshod writing that even I don't enjoy. That's my """productive""" brain speaking.
So I've been slowing it down a lot and really lingering on scenes, and while that hasn't always led to more better-composed scenes, it has made writing more bearable.
I've also been getting better at tuning out the weird reader hypotheticals. My readers are kind and if they aren't, they can read other things!
