Today I mostly read Ursula K. Le Guin's poems, and they are so intensely personal. Very of their time and very nice, very feminist. Will definitely have to do several rereads because much in them is compressed.
In writing news, I'm going out to harpoon my white-whale WIP, my first person, stream-of-consciousness Alice/Marisa angst fic about Alice hesitating and having a tailspin at 4 am. This WIP makes my hands shake so I'm glad I'm sort of trying to get a handle on it now.

- Finally did some editing on my white whale of a WIP: my first stream-of-consciousness fic. I'd actually finished writing it in the beginning of 2024 but then the editing and possible rewriting was so monumental that I procrastinated for a whole year.
- Now I am back at it and it's as I've feared, there's going to be a lot of foreshortening and rewriting. I have 3 distinct timelines for the fic because my POV character is ranting so much and I have to make her rants followable.
- But I'm am oh so close to finishing, maybe a month, two months. I'm determined, I'm going to completely finish this fic because my character has told me this really precious and fragile story and I have to do it for her at least.
