- Today's session was admittedly a bit more rushed, as I had quite a few things to do today, but I like this more methodical pacing I have.
- I did not hit the ground expecting things to work today - sort of! I reviewed my plans thoroughly and had a nice image. I struggled with the putting of words sentences to the image, and especially with compactness, but I wasn't lost at sea as I usually am. I even had the wherewithal to make post-writing notes!
- Really enjoying my reading also, probably because I'm back to Alice Munro. Her prose is so packed and yet so light...
I have to consider the reader here. I like my compact scenes pregnant with implication, but there's probably too much packed in and too obtusely implied for people to read this with any pleasure... so it's back to planning.
