I've been avoiding Han Suyin's excellent, devastating Winter Love because it would absolutely shatter me (I found an online version on archive). There's a scene not fifteen pages in where Red walks along the 'muscled' river Thames with her love interest that made me have to stop. I'm going to read more Munro, meanwhile.

Why are a lot of books that I want to read out of print or hard to find? I've been trying to find print copies of Salt Fish Girl, All Things Cease To Appear and Sarah Manguso's Liars but I can't seem to find them anywhere. They're not exactly obscure authors either: One has had a Netflix movie made out of it. Really looking hard for these books.
